Schramm's Women in Film PT 1.

I like my villains over the top, and dirty.

Best Villainess

Amanda Donohoe in Ken Russell's camp masterpiece, Lair of the White Worm. She plays the immortal Lady Sylvia Marsh. A snakewoman hell bent on the resurrection of the snake god she worships. I find it really fascinating Amanda Donohoe never had an interesting role before or after this film - in a way that makes this performance even better and more memorable. Amanda was the long time girlfriend of Adam Ant and is an outspoken atheist and feminist.

Diane Thorn in Ilsa She-Wolf of the S.S
